So whether you’re expecting your first little squishy and want to capture their first days in this world, or if you’ve got a beautiful family of kids of all ages, we can organise a session for you. Most portrait clients with babies and older children opt for on-location shoot, and those with newborns the sessions are always held inside for baby’s safety.

What to Expect From Your Perth Family Photography Session…

  • Almost 15years experience – I know all the little tips and tricks to help you relax and make the session fun!
  • Styling call before your session – I’ll give you a call to go through styling advice (what to wear), where to meet and any extra details.
  • I’ll help guide you in the shoot – so you don’t feel awkward and I’ll make the kids laugh
  • A mix of candid and traditional – I take a range of photos including fun ones and some ‘looking at the camera’ images so you have a beautiful collection.
  • Flexibility and patience – I have photographed hundreds of families and I have two little kids myself, so I understand the importance of playing with your children and making the session fun!
  • A gorgeous curated gallery – it takes approximately 5-10 business days to edit the photos. You’ll then receive an online gallery for you to view, save and share all your photos from the family portrait session.

If you’re interested in booking me, please fill out the contact form HERE. I’ll get back to you within 48 hours with more details and availability. To secure your date, I require a signed contract and a 50% deposit. The remaining balance is due 3 days after your photoshoot.

I often book 1-4months in advance for portrait sessions. Saturdays are my most popular day for family portraits, so they tend to book well in advance. Newborn sessions are done on weekday mornings and ideally are booked based on your due date while you’re still pregnant.

The short version is natural tones and try to avoid heavy patterns. I have an amazing in-depth guide on what to wear for your portrait session HERE. I also call you to go over all the fine details before your shoot so you’re fully prepared.

I have a very thorough guide on the best portrait photography locations in Perth that I send out to my clients when they book. It tells you everything from the accessibility, if it’s dog-friendly and I give image examples of other families who have had their photos taken in those spots.

The number of photos you will receive depends on the package you choose and the duration of your shoot. On average, you can expect to receive around 60-80 images. I’ll deliver your photos within 5-10 business days after your shoot via an online gallery, where you can view, download, and share your high-resolution images.

OMG YES! I adore dogs and many of my favourite shooting locations are dog friendly. Choose a neutral coloured leash and bring some kibble treats to help if your furry baby becomes a little distracted.
