Little cherubs 🥹 Newborns are so squishy and small Little cherubs 🥹 Newborns are so squishy and small. It's such a fleeting time - in just a few weeks, they fatten up and grow into 'babies'. It can feel like such a big task to organise a photo session to capture those first few days of their life (when you're probably recovering, sleep deprived and getting out of the house seems like a mission) but you won't regret getting the photos done. I often look back at my children's newborn photos and are amazed at how much they've grown. I miss those newborn snuggles. My kids won't stay still long enough anymore 😅
2026 is here and it is busy! In the past few month 2026 is here and it is busy! In the past few months, I've photographed some familiar faces (Hi M & S! 👋), booked a lot of portrait sessions and celebrated a lot of kids birthdays. Now that we're over the Christmas and New Year craziness, it feels good to get back into the usual weekly routine. That said, Saturdays are getting snapped up for portrait sessions. I'll be updating my availability in my stories/highlights so it's important to like and comment on my posts if you want to stay in the loop. I have so much I want to post, I just don't often find the time when client work takes priority. Thank you to all the lovely families and couples that have booked with me in the coming months. 2025 was a big year; welcoming a new baby, returni 2025 was a big year; welcoming a new baby, returning to part-time work, a business rebrand, and a calendar filled with portrait sessions and weddings. I’m grateful for the growth, the support, and everyone who continues to trust me with their memories. To be honest, December took it out of me. My husband was away for half the month, myself and the kids were sick (twice), shooting portraits, editing and then planning Christmas celebrations on top of it all. It’s been busy, tiring, and honestly a little chaotic—but also a reminder of how much I love what I do, even in the middle of real life. My daily routine often consists of being with the kids during the day, then once they’re in bed around 8pm, I’ll sit down at my computer to edit and answer emails. The reality is that I haven’t watched a TV show or a movie in 6 months. That’s not a complaint – I’m very lucky that I get to spend time with my kids and also work when I can. I just don’t get a lot of time to myself. It’s also the reason I haven’t been super active on socials. I prioritize my client’s images and emails when I work, so I rarely get the chance to post. I have so many amazing portrait sessions and some epic weddings to share, so I’m hoping to have more time for it this year. My girls turn 3 and 1 this month, which blows my mind because I feel like I only came back from the hospital a couple of months ago. Where did the time go? I should add that my calendar is getting booked EARLY. I have clients that have booked portrait sessions for March and April already.
