Revisiting some of my previous weddings as I'm preparing images to update the blog. I posted about Claire and Jonathan's wedding some time ago, but their images are still gorgeous <3 I'm slowly chipping away at the 'to-do' list behind the scenes. Often it feels like I get one thing done, and I add another two things to the list. Overall I am making progress, it's just a slow process. Some exciting things are in the works and I'm eager to share soon!

'Just a little longer'...Can you feel simultaneously sad and happy at the same time? In the past few weeks as my youngest girl is getting bigger, I've found myself feeling sad that she will only be a baby for one year, but also so happy and grateful that she's growing well.
I find myself whispering 'Just a little longer' when I hold her. I know just how quickly the time flies when you have kids. The days are long but the years are short.
I'm back at work this week, and I'm excited to photograph all the lovely families that have booked in (thank you). But I'm also sad that I'm no longer in the newborn bubble.
Being a parent is a strange dichotomy of feelings. I saw an Insta reel that said;
What's the best part about having kids?
Watching them grow up.
What's the hardest part about having kids?

...How true this is ❤

Gosh no wonder I don't get to post much anymore -

Gosh no wonder I don't get to post much anymore - just this collage of ten images alone took me over an hour to create. Usually I'm lucky to get 15-30mins on the computer at a time, and usually that means answering emails. Hence why my socials are pretty quiet these days 🥲 but I'm still here, still booking portraits and weddings.

I can't believe Little Bean is almost 3 months old

I can't believe Little Bean is almost 3 months old already! Where did the time go? I'm trying to savour as much of this time as possible, as I know they grow so fast. I miss her being a newborn but I'm excited to see her grow. Life is much busier with two little kids but I'm getting the hang of it all.
Don't forget that I'm back shooting portraits from 1st May, and I've got selected availability for June/July/August. Winter is an amazing time to get photos - especially if it's a little overcast ❤
