I know I've been rather quiet on the socials recen

I know I've been rather quiet on the socials recently, but I've been focusing on finishing my client work, looking after my (almost) 2yo and attending my final doctor's appointments as baby #2 is due very soon! This pregnancy has been relatively smooth but definitely more physically tiring (probably because I'm running after my daughter half the day). I'm now officially on maternity leave and will be back to taking portraits and short events from May 2025.
2024 has been a wonderful year and I'm looking forward to meeting this little one in January ❤

Gosh this year has gone by quickly! I can't believe we're only a few weeks out from Christmas 😱 It's also time to share Charlotte's 4th birthday photo shoot! I've seen her family every year since she was born and it's always a pleasure. Charlotte is a gorgeous mix of clever, cheeky, funny and sweet. I look forward to when her mum contacts me and says 'it's that time of year again!' and we book in a family session for them.

I've been quiet on social media but crazy busy beh

I've been quiet on social media but crazy busy behind the scenes! With weddings, portrait sessions and preparing the business for 2025, I spend most of my my evenings at the computer once my little one has gone to bed.
I've got so many gorgeous photos to share, and I hope I can find some time to post more often. In the meantime, here are a few snippets of Melissa and Mateo's amazing lunch wedding over the weekend 😍

I have some news! Little Peanut is getting a sibling!!! I have been meaning to make this post for quite some time - life has just been crazy busy.
I have said in the past that if I ever had children, I would like to have two. Growing up an only child I thought it would be nice to have a brother or sister. However, I didn't know if it would be possible to have another child given my fertility issues. Many people have asked me if I fell pregnant naturally, but the only times I've ever fallen pregnant is through IVF.
I thought it would take many months to years of fertility treatment to have success (if any). So my husband and I made the decision to give the surgery one last go and whatever embryos we got from that, we would transfer those and see what happens. If we fell pregnant - great, if we didn't - we would be happy with just one child. It would be too emotionally, physically and financially taxing to continue IVF indefinitely.
We didn't get many embryos from that process, so we didn't have high hopes.
We were so used to failure, we were amazed that it worked. Phone calls from the clinic are always nerve-wracking, so to receive some good news was a surprise.
Now I'm just over 22 weeks into this pregnancy, it definitely feels real now.
My last day I will be taking bookings will be Sat 21st Dec - so if you've been wanting to do a portrait shoot or need me to cover an event, book now!
I'll be back shooting portraits from May 2025 and weddings from Sept 2025, so I won't be gone for too long. I just want to enjoy that newborn bubble for the last time with the family 🥰
